A Foreigner Falls in Love with an Indonesian Woman

My name is Irwan, and I work as a guide for foreign tourists visiting Bali. One day, I was spending time with a foreign guest whom I will simply call Mr. P. I cannot mention his real name, but his story was too funny not to share.

Mr. P had been enjoying his holiday in Bali, but suddenly he asked me for something that made me completely confused. He wanted me to help him find an Indonesian girlfriend or simply a female friend to keep him company while he was staying in Bali.

I honestly did not know what to do. I even tried to explain to him that finding a girlfriend was not exactly part of my job as a tour guide! But Mr. P kept asking, so I decided to make a little joke and find something else that might entertain him.

And honestly, I have to admit something embarrassing. I originally booked the experience for Mr. P, but after trying the service myself, I also understood why he became so interested! Sometimes when someone treats you kindly, makes you feel comfortable and gives you good attention, it is easy to become a little emotionally attached. Haha!
